Optimization
The challenges to manufacturing are common: maximum use of productive capacity, improved order to execution visibility, reduce lead times in the supply chain, reduced spare parts inventory, decrease mean time to repair. Redwood has consultants with expertise in all these areas. We work with your team to define the problem including quantification of the cost to your current operation, a set recommended corrective steps and an estimate of the return on your investment in optimization. Based on our recommendations you choose which actions to take and what role you would like Redwood to play in their implementation.
We can continue to advise your team through an optimization implementation project or execute a turn key project charter were we engineer, procure and construct the entire project on your behalf. The key element to note is a Redwood supplied solution is ‘engineered.’ We do not work off the back of napkins or by waving our arms around a whiteboard. We provide complete drawings and specifications for everything we do. We use formal engineering principles to communicate to vendors, service providers and the project team. We expect your involvement in project meetings and your sign off on everything we deliver. If design drawings need “CFC” certification we can provide that too.
Once an optimization project is commissioned, our success is measured in not only realizing the return on investment predicted but in the maintenance of a long term relationship with you. Like a hockey team, when the season is over, whether the cup was won or not, there is still work to be done in developing a stronger faster team, increasing depth of talent and bettering relationships with advertisers and seasons ticket holders.
